The 2017 Bartlesville District Science Fair, hosted at the Phillips 66 Research Center on February 24-25, gathered around 300 students from Bartlesville and vicinities. Participation in the science fair is an excellent way to help students develop an understanding of the scientific process along with strengthening their communication skills.

Northern OK ACS awarded students in all three divisions:

  • Elementary Division - John Seo, How Does Salt Freeze Homemade Ice Cream?, Northeast Elementary School
  • Junior Division - Kendall Martin, Does Temperature Matter When Making Sugar Candie, Central Middle School
  • Senior Division - Carmen Collier, The Danger of Fertilizer: Aquatic Life, Bartlesville High School

Congratulations to these winners!
